A wilt disease of canola, first found near Fort Vermilion and Andrew, Alberta, Canada in 1999, has now been found throughout east-central Alberta, as well as in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This wilt disease, caused by Fusarium spp., resulted in canola yield losses of 30% or more in 1999.
