Official Pest Reports

Official Pest Reports are provided by National Plant Protection Organizations within the NAPPO region. These Pest Reports are intended to comply with the International Plant Protection Convention's Standard on Pest Reporting, endorsed by the Interim Commission on Phytosanitary Measures in March 2002.

July 31, 2006.  Update to the "List of Plant Genera Regulated for Phytophthora ramorum (Sudden Oak Death) (D-01-01 - Phytosanitary Requirements to Prevent the Entry of Phytophthora ramorum)."

Relative to previous official pest reports for Canada posted on the NAPPO-PAS (e.g., 01/19/2006;  04/27/2006) listing the plant genera regulated by Canada to prevent the introduction of Phytophthora ramorum (Sudden Oak Death), the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recently made some minor modifications to this list.

Genera recently added to the list of plants regulated for P. ramorum include Distylium (distylium), Ilex (holy), Manglietia (manglietia), as well as Parakmeria (parakmeria).
