These Pest Reports are intended to comply with the International Plant Protection Convention's Standard on Pest Reporting, endorsed by the Interim Commission on Phytosanitary Measures in March 2002.

Contact: The purpose of this Official Pest Report is to provide notification that Cumberland County, New Jersey and the Androscoggin, Cumberland, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Sagadahoc, Somerset, Waldo, and York Counties of Maine are being quarantined for the Pine Shoot Beetle (Tomicus piniperda). This action is effective immediately.
