Subject: Red gum lerp psyllid found on eucalyptus in Florida

The red gum lerp psyllid (Glycaspis brimblecombei Moore) was found for the first time in Florida in April, 2001. The infestation was found at Lake Buena Vista, in Orange County. This psyllid is a serious pest on eucalyptus, and was probably introduced on infested eucalyptus from California.
